Team Yukon headed to Winnipeg, Manitoba, May 30 – June 4, to participate in Canada’s largest trades and technology competition. Our team consisted of 18 members in both secondary and post secondary contests areas which included automotive repair, heavy equipment services, welding, carpentry, sheet metal work, cabinet making, cooking, public speaking, tv video production, photography , 2D animation, work place safety, electrical installation, and hair styling.
Giuk Kim represented Team Yukon in Electrical Installation and won a Silver medal.

The Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) is a national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices.
This year’s competition is May 31–June 3, 2017 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
