Skills Canada Yukon offers a number of different options for exploring trades and technology careers.
Skills clubs are run by skilled teachers and industry professionals. Some are about coaching students in a particular trade or technology as they train for Territorial, National or WorldSkills competitions.
Skills clubs can also be project-based, learning general knowledge in a number of trade areas to create something meaningful for the participants. Maybe it’s a park bench or a chicken coop – maybe it’s a skateboard or an electric guitar. Whatever it is, we’ll help get kids engaged in learning – out of their chairs, and onto their feet.
Give your students something to put their hands on – Contact us about a skills club for your school.
Our workshops provide hands-on learning to both elementary and high school students. They have fun exploring trades options as potential careers, and can also learn skills like reading, writing, math or physics while they’re at it. Skills Canada Yukon can custom-build workshops in many different trade and technology areas.
Explore trades in a whole new way. Contact us today about a workshop for your school.
