Skills & Knowledge to be tested
Post Secondary Level
- Carry out and complete a 100 Hour inspection on a Cessna 172 aircraft.
- Aspects of the challenge will include but not be limited to:
- Carry out differential compression test of engine cylinders
- Inspect Engine oil filter for foreign material/debris
- Check for correct engine to magneto timing
- Gap check, clean, and test spark plugs
- Complete corresponding lubrication schedule
- Propeller removal/replacement for corrosion inspection
- Removal/replacement of a primary flight control
- Removal/replacement of wheel assemblies, lubrication of wheel bearings
