Skills Clubs

Skills Clubs are extracurricular programs run by educators during lunch hours or afterschool to help students learn and improve skill sets.

We work together to provide funding for supplies and other resources! Skills Clubs typically have an end-goal with participants having the opportunity to complete a final project, using the skills and abilities they’ve developed through the Skills Club.

What about non-consumable materials?

We have a tool library for facilitators and educators to borrow from our supply! Send us an email to see if we have what you are looking to borrow!

Do existing skills clubs have to reapply for funding?

Yes. If you previously ran a Skills Club, you will still need to complete the Application Form and provide updated information for the current club to be elligible for funding.

Are there any costs associated with joining a Skills Club?

No. We aim to make Skills Clubs as low-barrier as possible, so all necessary materials and tools are provided by the clubs. We are able to provide funding for materials and have an extensive tool library for a variety of skills. Participants only need to bring their enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
